At long last!

Finally, we were able to hold a Heritage Group meeting on Thursday, April 21! It was supposed to be our AGM, with elections for positions. But a lack of nominees and volunteers forced us to put that off until our September meeting.

We met in the North Gym, which wasn’t ideal as we had to be spaced out (physically that is 😀) and it was hard for many members to hear. Fred Meier, President of RRC Polytech was our speaker. He spoke on the new Strategic Plan. Notes will be posted on the blog soon.

We did finally approve the constitution that had been revised in January 2020. More details of the meeting will follow soon, when the minutes are also posted to the blog.

Wind-up in June

There will be no meeting on May 19, as both Karen and Leslie will be out of town. Instead, the group decided to meet on June 2 for a final get together. Stay tuned for details.

Hint: It will be a luncheon, since many venues still aren’t booking for groups.

In the meantime, I look forward to seeing everyone in June, and enjoying some warm weather!
