May 19, 1931 – March 14, 2016

Though not a Heritage Group member, Bill Regehr will be fondly remembered by countless RRC staff  and retirees from his time as Chair of the RRC Board of Governors. Bill passed away suddenly on March 14 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 84. Throughout his career, he maintained an active involvement with community organizations at local and international levels. He enjoyed his position as Chair of the RRC Board, and had also served on the Boards of the University of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba, and the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Always a believer in the goodness of humanity, he was an example of decency and integrity.
