Have you read about the latest Justin Trudeau PR fiasco? When a young woman commented during a town hall meeting, “Maternal love is the love that’s going to change the future of mankind”, Trudeau promptly interjected, “We like to say ‘peoplekind’, not necessarily ‘mankind’. It’s more inclusive.”
Fox and Friends, one of President Trump’s favourite TV shows, was only one of many to pounce on our PM. British journalist Piers Morgan crowned Trudeau the “Chief PC Plonker” (PC for Politically Correct), and “a spineless virtue-signalling excuse for a feminist”. Australian columnist Rita Panahi called him the “Kim Kardashian of political leaders; an all-style, no-substance himbo with all the depth of a puddle.” Ouch…
Now some even suggest that Manitoba be renamed “Peopleitoba.”
So let’s be fair and more inclusive by also correcting some of those femininely charged words in our vocabulary. After all, “his” and “her” have been supplanted by “their”, right? So let’s hear it for theiroism, theirbivores, and theirpes!
And what do you say we label ourselves the Theiritage Group? It seems only right. Right?
