BUSINESS ARISING
Endowment Fund: Elena reported
There is low interest right now on our investments. Last year we dispersed $3000 by the end of Dec. Over $4000 were contributed by Heritage committee members.
Social Committee Report
Karen Wall reported for Gail Shimonek.
- March 17th Luncheon: John Reimers had been in contact with staff at PGI about their buffets. Karen provided details. Discussion followed and it was made clear that because of parking and other inconveniences HG members do not want to go to the downtown campus for lunch either for a buffet or at Jane’s. The social committee will look at other options for the lunch on March 17 and report back at the February meeting.
- May Assiniboine Zoo Tour and Luncheon: John Reimers will be in contact with the
Zoo shortly about a tour and a luncheon in either the zoo itself or the Qualico Centre restaurant. Further information will be coming regarding this event at a later meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
Elaine Primeau had creative retirement booklets that she passed on to those interested. The group offers excellent courses and clubs for retirees.
