Peacefully at the age of 72, Nancy Mae Wheatley danced off to an everlasting sleep on September 2nd, after a six-month battle with Glioblastoma.
Nancy joined RRC in 2010 as an Industrial Maths and Science instructor before becoming Chair Civil Engineering Technology and Construction Management, served as the employee rep on the Board of Governors from 2007 to 2011, and was Dean of the School of Construction and Engineering Technologies from 2012 to her retirement in 2017.
Cremation has taken place and her life was celebrated as part of her 50th Wedding anniversary.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Special Olympics Manitoba or Candlelighters Childhood Cancer.
