September 21, 2023 – Room A137

Greetings Heritage Group members!

How is it possible we are staring down another Equinox, albeit one that brings us on another journey with our fellow RRC Polytech retirees?

Whether we gather in A137 to hear stories from our presenters or catch up on the latest life stories in our social gatherings, I’m sure we’ll have a great time together this College year.

Our first meeting on September 21, 2023, will certainly lift you up with a presentation from Dr. Barry Prentice, a professor of supply chain management at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Prentice is widely recognized as an expert in the field of transportation and logistics and his presentation will feature lighter-than-air (LTA) transport technologies, such as blimps and airships.

I have attached the agenda (below) and a map showing where you can park in the West lot. There will be a row of pylons in the first row nearest the college for you to remove and park. I’ll have the coffee on and the cookies ready for all of you. I hope we can entice some of you newer retirees to join the fun!

But first, let’s enjoy as much of our gardens as possible; gather those seeds to grow next year’s annuals and get in as much sun as possible.

See you in soon,
Michael Joyal
Donor Stewardship Coordinator|Development

PS – if you have limited mobility, let me know and I can see about getting you closer to Building A.
