Remember the Red River Rebel Riders (now RRCyclists), a team of RRC cyclists that has raised tens of thousands of dollars over the years in the fight against MS? Two alumni and HG members, Wayne Ferguson and Guy Dugas, have now set their sights on cancer, the largest killer of kids in Canada.
They (with their team that included non-retired RRC instructor Mike Poitras) participated in in the June Great Cycle Challenge, riding 2,227 km and raising $2,145 to date.
Over 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer every year. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. So Wayne, Guy, Mike, and 22,614 other riders helped raise over $4,386,000 through the challenge to support SickKids Foundation.
It’s not too late to make a donation, no matter how small, and give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. Donations will be accepted until July 31st.
Your support will change little lives.
